Haunted Changi

Those who've lived in singapore for at least a month will know about OCH (Old Changi Hospital) which has been the "it" place for those looking for some "fun" since it was closed down. Even the government can't keep them out. Just to add to their (government) frustration, the movie "Haunted Changi" was released here in Singapore a couple weeks ago, indirectly encourging people (TEENAGERS) to enter the hospital, which is a government property, without first having had the permission to do so. The movie was not only ruthlessly criticised for it's over-exaggeration and the fact that it's fake in the Newpaper (a news paper in singapore like the Straits Times just with more gossips) but taken by fans to be real and not fake. Some have even went there searching for this "Xiao Juan" (a character, believed to be a ghost, in the movie) and the "Secret Tunnel". Well the question that I so want to ask these people is when was the last time something on the big screen turned out to be true and when was the last time a person actually told the truth? Just accept the fact that it's all a big fat lie. In other words, a hoax to sell tickets and make money.

Moving away from all that, Andrew Lau, the supposed director of Haunted Changi who was supposedly killed by a friend of his, is now a big dead star in the eyes of many who are still doing research on whether he did or did not die during the production of the movie. I have to say that what gave it (the fact that it's all fake) away is the fact that  the friend who supposedly killed Andrew and was possessed by a Japanese ghost dragged the camera and placed it on a stand that was conveniently there. What, the ghost wants to be on the big screen too?

I don't quite remember the name of the Malay guy who, as mentioned at the end of the one plus hour movie, is now suffering from a chronic disease and deafness in either one of his ears or both ears - I don't quite remember because I was really feeling like leaving not only because the movie was a big fat joke, but because the people sitting in front of me were really annoying the crap out of me with their nonsense - after having heard a chinese song being played when there was no music player or even a person - except his colleagues- around is really a joke. I mean come on. If you're really suffering from a chronic disease, prove it. Show us that you are. And if you are really deaf, go for a hearing test and prove to us that you truly are deaf.

I won't talk about every character in the movie, but I have to talk about the only living girl in the movie. She goes by the name Sheena Chung. I have to say that she's quite beautiful for a  liar. At least that part of the movie was real... Or was it? That's up to all of you reading this to decide. I don't really have much to say about her except for the fact that I would rather watch a movie based on her life rather than OCH.

If any of you reading this still dare to argue with me about any of the things that I've mentioned, feel free to e-mail me at archivesa@hotmail.com or post a few comments on this blog. And if you really want to search for the Tunnel, please do not enter the premise without permission. Something much more horrible may follow you home - a fine. Ending this criticism of mine, please do not hate me for being truthful as I've already mentioned that this is where you will get the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Hope to hear from you guys soon.

It's a MOVIE... were you entertained? It says "horror" as the genre on their Facebook page. Do you expect all horror movies to be true?

Well, no. But I'm just so sick of people saying that it is. Thanks for commenting.

Get your facts straight... you look like an idiot. IT'S A MOVIE... btw, Straits Times NEVER said it was real. It... is... a... movie.

Fyi... Also, by calling someone a liar in public, you are opening yourself to a serious case of libel.
